Gwithian Academy of Surfing can now offer superb self catering accommodation in the village of Gwithian, just a short walk from the surf school and the beautiful beaches that make up St Ives Bay . We aim to offer you good value, comfortable accommodation with excellent facilities, to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. We’ve provided all the things that we want when on holiday, and tried to make the apartments a real home away from home.

Each apartment is totally self contained, and we provide you with proper kitchens containing all the cooking equipment you might need. The beds are comfy, the showers are powerful and the furnishings are clean and stylish.

This really is the perfect base for your surfing holiday.

Weekly Surfing Packages

Feeling fit and got a week to spare? Why not take a crack at a seven day course? Our FreeRider course gives you some free time to explore this beautiful area, or you could try the Hellman course which will have you in the water and tearing the waves up as often as possible.

n.b. There is a £60 supplement per person for accommodation packages during the peak summer weeks in July and August.

I Already Surf But Want to Improve……

Once your surfing has hit a certain level it’s very easy to plateau and not move on to the next step. If you’re an intermediate surfer who has moved beyond the whitewater, and are thinking about improving your cutback, fine tuning your bottom turns or just catching more waves then our Advanced Surf Coaching will definitely help.

Get vital tips on your surfing from our experienced coaches, two of whom have worked with the British Junior Surfing Squad and Team. We already coach some of the best surfers in the area and will use the same techniques combined with video analysis to give your surfing the boost it needs.

Bespoke Surfing Packages

If you don’t want to be tied into having a set amount of lessons then our Bespoke package might be for you. We’re pretty adaptable and want to make sure that you have the best time possible while you are down with us in Cornwall. One night, four nights or three weeks – anything is possible so long as we have availability. Just get in touch and we will do whatever we can to get you in the water and make sure you have the perfect holiday.
