When you complete a course with us you can become an A.S.I. Level 1 Surf Instructor and be able to teach surfing in surf schools across Britain and the world.

The Academy of Surfing Instructors is a worldwide organisation specialising in offering surf instructor training courses, education and surf school accreditation as well as having comprehensive learn to surf books, DVDs and student workbooks for schools and colleges. A.S.I. qualifications are internationally recognised and graduates of the A.S.I. courses can gain employment with surf schools throughout the world.

When you pass the course you will become part of the A.S.I. coaching fraternity and gain access to the best surf coaching resources around. Surf Instructing is a great way to meet people and you will have great fun as you get on the first step to a career in the surfing industry. A.S.I. Level 1 Surf Instructor Courses in 2025

We are running several Level 1 A.S.I. surf coach courses in 2025. On these courses you will learn everything you need to know about getting beginner surfers up and riding for the first time, develop your communication skills and have a great time in the process. The two day courses will take place on:

Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th of April
Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th of May
Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th of June
Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd of September

Each course is just £330 per person. This includes certification, T-shirt, membership of A.S.I. and your course manual.
