The Next Wave – ASI Level 1 Surf Instructors
Another group of ASI surf instructors has been released into the waves and unsuspecting public after they successfully passed last weekends Level 1 Surf Coach Award.
Adam Bayfield, Sam Benstead, David Oyler and Giacommo Tilli were ably guided by Ian Gabbitas, our resident ASI Level 3 Surf Coach and Trainer, and all achieved their Level 1 coaching certificate. Now all they have to do is complete 25 hours of supervised coaching practise and achieve a lifeguard qualification before they embark on a rewarding summer, and hopefully career, of surf coaching.
Keep an eye out for them this summer. They’ll be the ones with the big grins who are having almost as much fun as their student surfers.
We’re Open!
The surf school is officially open for the season and we’ll be here everyday from 10am to 6pm from now until November. [Read more…] about We’re Open!
